NOIR ON THE RADIO FRIDAY NIGHT

Hey, everyone, I’ll be on the Authors on the Air again this Friday night Feb. 26 at 6pm (PST) with the talented C.S. Dewildt, Brian Thornton, S.W. Lauden, Rob Pierce, and Josh Stallings.  As usual, Michael Pool is our gracious host of Noir on the Radio. We’ll be reading some flash fiction and talking about the conference and whatever mishaps so far have happened (I’m sure there’ll be a few) so even if you’re not at Left Coast Crime, it’ll be like you’re there! So come check us out. There will be a link provided to hear us live. In case I forget to post it since I’ll be at the conference, click this link and hopefully there will be one for Noir on the Radio.

WHAT’S IN A PEN NAME?

Today on Writing Wranglers & Warriors, I talk about the stress of choosing a pen name. Who do I want to be?

More importantly, am I going to be prepared for the Left Coast Crime Conference in time?!

THE SHORTEST STORY I EVER WROTE

I received news that Blink Ink, a print-only publication, has accepted my 50-word story entitled “Solo” for inclusion in their upcoming March issue #23. The theme is “Mystery Train” and my story features  a young girl going on her first train ride with her mother.

It’s a pretty cool concept they have and I’m thrilled to be part of it. For more information on Blink Ink, check them out!

MY VERY FIRST COVER REVEAL!

I’m thrilled to share the cover for my upcoming noir novella CLEANING UP FINN. Isn’t it purdy? I’m indebted to the superbly talented graphic designer J.T. Lindroos and All Due Respect Books. Look for it in May!

WHEN DO YOU GIVE UP ON A STORY…OR DO YOU EVER?

Today, I’m a guest on Do Some Damage thanks to Holly West where I discuss short story submissions. It’s a constant process of revising / resubmitting / revising / resubmitting / hating it and throwing it in the trash / pull out of trash / revising / resubmitting…well, you get the picture.
