Had the best time today at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. Haven't been since I was a teen. My mom and I would come here every summer. Perfect end to the day hanging out on the patio at Las Brisas. Had the best time seeing Sparks and TMBG! I grew up listening to Sparks on KROQ but didn't realize how many songs I knew. The Sparks Brothers biopic is amazing and director Edgar Wright flew in from London and came on stage to take a pic of the audience at the end of the show. Spent the day decompressing after a hectic but inspiring writer conference by having pho with a friend and taking Zoe for a hike in PV. It's all about the food. Won ton soup, pepper beef bun, Peking duck, har gow, mochi, homemade dumplings. Zoe is excited for Doggie Day at the South Coast Botanic Garden. Colorful spring flowers are everywhere, including cherry blossoms! The latest art exhibit is trash from the ocean recycled into cool sculptures. #washedashore #arttosavethesea #gardensofinstagram #palosverdes #southcoastbotanicgarden Had a fantastic last day in Tucson at the botanical garden where they have a butterfly exhibit. Spotted a bunny in the wild finally too. #tucson #desert #botanicalgardens #tucsonbotanicalgardens #arizona Found a fantastic place in downtown for tacos #tucson #tacos #lachingada #nomnom #lcc2023 Happy gotcha day, Zoe! 3 years ago today, she hid under my couch, terrified and shaking. An hour later, she let me pet her. Now she's perfected the look of disgust when she doesn't get her snacks 🤣 💜🐶 #rescuedog #dogsofinstagram #ilovemydog❤️ Started off the morning with my first goat yoga class! So much fun and it's like a nice little back massage. 🤣
